Variety was the key word for this year’s LaGrange County Habitat for Humanity (LCHFH) Auction, held in the Shipshewana Auction Barn last Friday.
Sherry Reno of New Castle, Ind., recently had the opportunity to visit Shipshewana and went home with a new quilt courtesy of the annual SRMA raffle.
On June 20, Shipshewana will become a veritable quilter’s mecca when over 2,500 guests are expected to journey there for the four-day Shipshewana Quilt Festival.
Summer day camps registration is being accepted now.
Swimming lessons registration will begin Monday, June 4.

The LaGrange County Parks January Quilt Class will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Maple Wood Nature Center. The center is located at 4550E 100S.
