At approximately 11:47 p.m. on August 23, deputies from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department investigated a suspicious vehicle on the corner of Michigan and Detroit streets.
Shirley M. Allred, 79, Shipshewana, died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at her residence.
Mickail Leigh, 57, Shipshewana, died Monday, December 15, 2014 at his residence.
Gayle Rae Shafer, 61, Canton, Mich., died December 5, 2014 at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.
What a milestone.
Josephine Anglin, 88, Avilla, Ind., formerly of Kendallville, Ind., died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville, Ind.

The LaGrange Police Department investigated reports of drug activity in the 400 block of North Detroit Street in LaGrange Saturday, leading to the arrest of three suspects at that location.
Kathleen V. Glick, 60, Copperas Cove, Texas, formerly of Topeka, died February 27, 2014 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Shortly before 11 p.m. on March 21, an officer from the LaGrange Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a Mitsubishi Eclipse on Michigan Street at Detroit Street.
At approximately 9 p.m. on February 4, an officer from the LaGrange Police Department was dispatched to a residence on North Detroit Street regarding a domestic dispute.
The LaGrange County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) has temporarily relocated to ParGil Natural Resources Learning Center at 2335 North SR 9 in LaGrange.
Thirty-years ago this past Tuesday, Oct. 1, a new shop opened up on Detroit Street in LaGrange – the Independent Phone Shop.
This coming week, hydrants and blow-offs lying north, south, east and west of the corporate limits of LaGrange will be flushed.
