NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

FOR VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF

THE TOWN OF MIDDLEBURY SIGN ORDINANCE

          A Petition for a Variance has been filed with the Town Council for the Town of Middlebury, Indiana seeking a variance from the requirements of the Town of Middlebury Sign Ordinance.  The Petition was filed by Premiere Signs, Inc. on behalf of Golden Star Furniture and concerns the following described real estate:

Said real estate is commonly known as 201 S Main Street, Middlebury, Indiana 46540.

          The Petition seeks a variance from the requirements of the Town of Middlebury Sign Ordinance as follows:

1.     To allow for the installation of an unattached sign located four (4) feet from the building (ordinance requires unattached signs to be located a minimum of 10 feet from the building).

          The Middlebury Town Council shall conduct a public hearing with regard to said Petition which hearing has been scheduled for the 6th day of August, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Middlebury Town Hall, 418 North Main Street, Middlebury, Indiana 46540.  All persons interested in, or affected by, said proposed variance may attend the public hearing and may speak in favor of said petition or remonstrate against the same, as provided by law.
