Notice of Rate Hearing on Garbage Collection
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Wolcottville, Indiana on the 2nd day of October, 2012, shall hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall, 104 West Race Street, Wolcottville, Indiana 46795, at which time owners, occupiers, and lessees of any dwelling unit located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Wolcottville, and other interested persons may be heard concerning proposed fees for the collection and disposal of garbage and rubbish within the Town of Wolcottville. A “dwelling unit” is defined as all residential dwelling units that are up to and including three units.
The Town of Wolcottville, Indiana has put out and received bids for the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste for the purposes of furnishing solid waste collection services to all residential dwelling units located within the town limits of the Town of Wolcottville, Indiana. An ordinance has also been introduced establishing just and equitable rates and charges for said services rendered by the Town of Wolcottville to each owner, occupier, and lessee of any dwelling unit who uses or is served or to be served with said services and is located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Wolcottville, as follows:

At such hearing, which may be adjourned from time to time, the Town Council, after considering all testimony, shall take final action on the ordinance establishing said rates and charges for the collection and disposal of garbage and rubbish within the Town of Wolcottville.
