MEMBERS OF THE LAGRANGE COUNTY PLAN COMMISSION WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING A ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT ON TUESDAY, JUNE 19, 2012 AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS ROOM, COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING, 114 W. MICHIGAN STREET, LAGRANGE, INDIANA FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE:

To consider a proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment related to permitted accessory uses in all Zoning Districts within the unincorporated areas of LaGrange County.  The subject matter of the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment relates to the regulation of boat docks as a permitted accessory use and an amendment to the definition of Marina.  A copy of the proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment is on file for examination at the LaGrange County Plan Commission Office located at 114 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, Indiana.  Written objections to the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments that are filed with the secretary of the commission prior to the hearing will be considered.  Oral comments concerning the proposal will be heard at the hearing. The hearing may also be continued from time to time by the commission.
