PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Town of Shipshewana will hold a public hearing on February 23, 2012 beginning at 6:00 PM during the ShipshewanaTown Council meeting located at 345 N. Morton Street, Shipshewana, IN, to provide interested citizens an opportunity to express their views on the recently completed downtown revitalization planning strategy. The Shipshewana Downtown Revitalization Strategy was paid for using Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. Representatives from, DLZ Engineering, will present their findings and recommendations at the hearing.  Every effort will be made to allow persons to voice their opinions at the public hearing. Persons with disabilities or non-English speaking persons who wish to attend the public hearing and need assistance should contact Ruth Ann Downey, Clerk/Treasurer at 260-768-4743, no later than February 21, 2012.
