Public Hearing - Additional Appropriations

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE
COUNTY COUNCIL AND THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LAGRANGE COUNTY, INDIANA, REGARDING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

The County Council (the "County Council") and the Board of Commissioners (the "Commissioners") of LaGrange County, Indiana (the "County"), will hold a public hearing at a joint meeting of the County Council and the Commissioners on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. (local time), in the Commissioners Meeting Room in the County Office Building, 114 West Michigan Street, LaGrange, Indiana, to consider the following additional appropriation which is in addition to all appropriations provided for in the existing budget of the County:

An appropriation of not to exceed Two Million Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,800,000) of funds received by the County from the State of Indiana pursuant to Ind. Code 8-14-14-6(a)(3) and presently on deposit in the Major Moves Construction Fund established by the County pursuant to Ordinance No. 2006-8-21, as subsequently amended and restated by Ordinance No. 2008-11-10(a), and as further amended and restated by Ordinance No. 2012-10-10 for the purpose of funding a revolving loan fund under Ind. Code 5-1-14-14 and making loans therefrom for the purpose of funding economic development projects (as defined in Ind. Code 6-3.5-7-13.1(c)(1) or Ind. Code 6-3.5-7-13.1(c)(2(A) through (6-3.5.7.13.1(c)(2)(K)).

All interested parties may appear at such hearing and have the right to be heard on the necessity of such addition appropriation.
