Petition for Variance - Pizza Hut

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

FOR VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF

THE TOWN OF MIDDLEBURY SIGN ORDINANCE

          A Petition for a Variance has been filed with the Town Council for the Town of Middlebury, Indiana seeking a variance from the requirements of the Town of Middlebury Sign Ordinance.  The Petition was filed by Signtech Sign Services, Inc. on behalf of Franchise Management Investors US, LLC (dba Pizza Hut) and concerns the following described real estate:

Lot2 as the said lot is known and designated on the recorded Plat of Spring Valley Plaza, a DPUD.

Said real estate is commonly known as 500 Spring Valley Drive, Suite 8, Middlebury, Indiana 46540.

          The Petition seeks a variance from the requirements of the Town of Middlebury Sign Ordinance as follows:

1. To allow for the installation of an attached building façade sign with a surface area of 31 square feet (Prior variance allows a maximum surface area of 24 square feet).

          The Middlebury Town Council shall conduct a public hearing with regard to said Petition which hearing has been scheduled for the 21st day of May, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Middlebury Town Hall, 418 North Main Street, Middlebury, Indiana 46540.  All persons interested in, or affected by, said proposed variance may attend the public hearing and may speak in favor of said petition or remonstrate against the same, as provided by law.
