NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Wolcottville will receive sealed bid proposals for the following:

SALEOF 2006 FORD Crown Victoria

Bid proposals will be received until 4:30 P.M. on the 1st day of May, 2012, at the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer, 104 W Race Street, P.O. Box 325, Wolcottville, Indiana, 46795. All bids received by said time will be held unopened. Bids received after said time will be returned unopened. No oral, telegraph, facsimile, or telephone bids or changes to bids will be considered.

Bid proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Council President at a public meeting at 6 P.M. on the 1st day of May, 2012, in the Town Hall, 104 W Race Street, P.O. Box 325, Wolcottville, Indiana, 46795. 

After the opening of the bids, they will be presented to the Town Council for consideration or award.

The vehicle being offered for sale is:

2006 FORD Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, VIN# 2FAFP71W36X110493, mileage 113,000, painted White.

No specifications are available for the vehicle being offered for sale. The vehicle is being sold “AS IS”, “WHERE IS” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS.”  THE PROPERTY IS SOLD WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION OF SUCH PROPERTY. By submitting a bid pursuant to this notice, the bidder agrees to execute a bill of sale and any other documents required by the Town of Wolcottville.  The vehicle may be inspected at the Wolcottville Town Hall, 104 W Race Street, P.O. Box 325, Wolcottville, Indiana, 46795 during regular business hours, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M Monday – Friday.  Please contact Clerk Treasurer, Jeanette Combs at (260) 854-3151.   

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, which shall have the bidder's name and the words "BID FOR CROWN VICTORIA”, clearly noted on the outside of the envelope. 

The Town of Wolcottville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bidding and to waive any variations from the specifications.
