NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF
THE TOWN OF MIDDLEBURY SIGN ORDINANCE
A Petition for a Variance has been filed with the Town Council for the Town of Middlebury, Indiana seeking a variance from the requirements of the Town of Middlebury Sign Ordinance. The Petition was filed by MSF Inc. (dba Martin Ace Home Center) and concerns the following described real estate:
Lot1 as the said lot is known and designated on the recorded Plat of Crystal Heights Phase II DPUD.
Said real estate is commonly known as 103 Crystal Heights Blvd., Middlebury, Indiana 46540.
The Petition seeks a variance from the requirements of the Town of Middlebury Sign Ordinance as follows:
1. To allow for the installation of attached building façade signs with a total surface area of signage of 273 square feet (Ordinance allows a maximum of 125 square feet on any single building).
2. To allow for the installation of an unattached sign with a letter size of 48 inches (Ordinance allows a maximum letter size of 18 inches).
The Middlebury Town Council shall conduct a public hearing with regard to said Petition which hearing has been scheduled for the 21st day of May, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Middlebury Town Hall, 418 North Main Street, Middlebury, Indiana 46540. All persons interested in, or affected by, said proposed variance may attend the public hearing and may speak in favor of said petition or remonstrate against the same, as provided by law.
