NOTICE TO BIDDERS
TECHNOLOGY RELATED HARDWARE/SOFTWARE/INFRASTRUCTURE
Notice is hereby given that the Commissioners of the County of LaGrange, Indiana (hereinafter the “County”) will receive sealed bids for the following technology related hardware/software/infrastructure projects:
1. CountyWideArea Network Upgrade
2. GPS System for County Highway Department Trucks
3. Diagnostic Equipment for County Highway Department Trucks
4. Software for County Highway Department to Track Inventory and Maintenance of Highway Vehicles
5. Contour Layer for County GIS System (2 ft. Contour Lines)
6. 800 MHZ Radio Repeaters for County Communications Center
7. 911 Consoles for County Communications Center
8. CountyDocumentManagement Project Equipment
9. Fiber Optic Connection Project to Connect County Buildings
10. CountyDocumentPrinting System Upgrade
Bidders may bid on one or more project and are not required bid on all projects to be considered for award of any individual project. Bids should be sealed in an envelope and marked “Technology Bid - _____________________” with the blank containing the above described number and project upon which a bid is being submitted upon. If bids are submitted on more than one project by the same bidder, each bid shall be sealed and marked separately. All bids shall be forwarded by mail addressed to the County Auditor’s Office, 114 West Michigan Street, LaGrange, Indiana 46761, or delivered in person to the bid opening.
Bids for the projects listed above will be opened and considered at a public meeting to be held on July 2, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., local time, provided the same shall have been received not later than 10:00 a.m., local time on said date. The public meeting called for the purpose to receive such bids shall be held at the County Annex Building, Commissioner’s Office, 114 West Michigan Street, LaGrange, Indiana 46761. Bids received after the bid opening process has begun will be returned unopened.
No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the County for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of receiving the same. The cost incurred in preparing the bids or in any other manner by the vendor in responding to this invitation may not be charged to the County. The County reserves the right to cancel this invitation or reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities or irregularities in the bidding, and to rescind the award if a mutually agreed contract is not entered into. The evaluation criteria that will be used by the County to review any bid submitted is contained in the specifications and bid requirements prepared by or on behalf of the County. No certified check or other financial responsibility other than as set forth in the specifications and bid requirements prepared by or on behalf of the County is required.
