Notice for Bids - Furnishings

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of LaGrange County, Indiana, will at their regular meeting place in the County Office Building; receive sealed bids for furnishing and delivering the following listed materials requisitioned by LaGrange County Officials.   Bids and Quotes will be received until the hour of 9:00 a.m. local time on Monday, November 05, 2012, on the following:

REQUISITION #3...............PAINT STRIPING (BID)

REQUISITION #4...............LIQUID CUT BACK ASPHALT & EMULSIFIED ASPHALT (BID)

REQUISITION #5..............BITUMINOUS PATCHING MATERIAL (QUOTE)

REQUISITION #7..............LIMESTONE   (QUOTE)

REQUISITION #7A............SAND & GRAVEL (QUOTE)

REQUISITION #8..............PIPE (CULVERT) (QUOTE)

REQUISITION #10............CALCIUM CHLORIDE (BID)        

REQUISITION #26............HOURLY EQUIPMENT‑CRANES, LOADERS, DOZER, ETC (QUOTE)

REQUISTION #27C……….TREATED BRIDGE TIMBER (BID)

Detailed specifications are on file in the office of the County Auditor.  Bids must be as specified or the equivalent satisfactory to the Commissioners.

Bids must be submitted on a Non-Collusion Affidavit obtained from the County Auditor.  Each bid must be accompanied by a ten percent (10%) bidder’s bond or certified check and affidavits as specified by law.   All bids and quotes are to be sealed.

The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities or irregularities therein, to delete any bid item or items and to award a contract on the bid that in their judgment is most advantageous to LaGrange County.
