Notice for Bids - Engineering services

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

ENGINEERING SERVICES

               Notice is hereby given that the Redevelopment Commission of the County of LaGrange, Indiana (hereinafter the “County”) will receive sealed proposals for engineering services for the preliminary design, required infrastructure, and cost estimates for a TIF #2 sewer line project and water line project.

Proposals should be sealed in an envelope and marked “TIF #2 Sewer and Water Line Engineering Services”.  All proposals shall be forwarded by registered mail addressed to the County, Attention: Meredith Cameron, 114 West Michigan Street, LaGrange, Indiana 46761, or delivered in person to the proposal opening.

Proposals for the project listed above will be opened and considered at a public meeting to be held on October 26, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., local time, provided the same shall have been received not later than 9:00 a.m., local time on said date.  The public meeting called for the purpose to receive such proposals shall be held at the County Annex Building, Commissioner’s Office, 114 West Michigan Street, LaGrange, Indiana 46761.  Proposals received after the opening process has begun will be returned unopened. 

               No proposals shall be withdrawn after the opening of proposals without the consent of the County for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of receiving the same.  The cost incurred in preparing the proposals or in any other manner by the vendor in responding to this invitation may not be charged to the County.  The County reserves the right to cancel this invitation or reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities or irregularities in the proposals, and to rescind the award if a mutually agreed contract is not entered into. The evaluation criteria that will be used by the County to review any proposal submitted is contained in the specifications and proposal requirements prepared by or on behalf of the County.  No certified check or other financial responsibility other than as set forth in the specifications and proposal requirements prepared by or on behalf of the County is required.
