Notice to Bidders: Install/Wire Northridge Middle School Fire Alarm & Fire Doors

Notice is hereby given that bids will be received and opened at 11:00 a.m. local time, Tuesday June 12, 2012... The bids will be opened and read aloud at the Middlebury Community Schools Administration Center, 56853 Northridge Drive. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened.

Plan Specifications are available upon calling Middlebury Community Schools (574)-825-9425. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid. Evidence of successful fire alarm systems installation is mandatory to apply for this project. Bid security shall be a certified check or bid bond and shall be the bidder’s guarantee that said bidder will, if the contract is awarded to said bidder, execute within ten (10) days of acceptance of said bid, a contract for the work bid upon. All bid bonds shall be made payable to the Middlebury Community Schools and be executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Indiana.

The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding.

No bidder may withdraw bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for bid opening.

Bid proposals shall be complete and properly executed on the bid form of State Board of Accounts, www.in.gov/sboa, Form 96, as required by the statutes of Indiana.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of their contract amount prior to execution of contract.
