The 82nd Annual Wolcottville Independence Day Celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 4, in Taylor Park on the south edge of Wolcottville. The committee has been working hard to put together the activities for the day.
The Johnson Township Fire Department will begin the day with a pancake and sausage breakfast from 7-11 a.m.
The Wolcottville Youth Baseball Association will be serving BBQ chicken after the breakfast. Liberty Free Will Baptist Church will have hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, and soft drinks available throughout the day.
There will also be pork chop sandwiches served by the fire department, pork burgers cooked by the Wolcottville Police Department, root beer floats by First Baptist Church of Wolcottville, and elephant ears.
There will be baseball games throughout the day, a cornhole tournament, and bingo from 1-5 p.m.
There will also be a car, truck, and motorcycle show on First and Race streets in Wolcottville from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Beginning at 8 p.m. will be free entertainment provided by Regan and Terri Ford. They will provide music until the start of the fireworks display at approximately 10 p.m.
