Prince of Peace harvest fest

Event Dates: September 15, 2012 - 4:00pm

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is holding its Harvest Fest on Saturday, September 15 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The annual Harvest Fest features a hog roast with side dishes and a bake sale. A free-will donation is requested for the meal. The bake sale provides tasty homemade pies and desserts for something special at home or at the lake. Horse wagon rides follow the 1/3 mile trail through the church’s woods and prairie. “It’s a delightful evening of food and fall fun. An event for the whole family!” said Tom Biddle, event coordinator.

The food, fun, and bake sale are for the greater community of southeast LaGrange County. The free-will donations help to financially support students at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne who are studying to be Lutheran pastors and who assist Prince of Peace in its ministry.

The Harvest Fest will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at 10275 E. 550 S., Hudson, IN, (Located 3 miles southwest of Stroh on LaGrange County Road 550 S. 1025 E.- just north of Big Long Lake).
