The Wolfe Community Building will host a free Indiana Trapper Education course on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 23 and 24. Classes will be held from 4:30-8:30 p.m. each day. Those wishing to take the course must attend both classes.
Class size is limited. To register, go online to http:// www.register-ed.com/programs/ indiana/agency:25. Registration is also available the night of the class.
No equipment is required and the class is available to both children and adults. Children under age 16 must be accompanied by a person with a driver’s license.
Attendees will learn about the history of trapping, animal identification, animal behavior, ethics, safety, trap placement, and instruction on how to set traps. The Wolfe Community Building is located at 345 N. Morton St. in Shipshewana.
