LaGrange County Parks is hosting a late summer Hunter's Safety Class Aug. 3-4 at Pine Knob Park in Howe. Anyone born after December 31, 1986 is required to pass this class before obtaining a firearms hunting permit. It is also recommended for hunters of any age who have not gone through this or a similar course. Class time is 5:30-9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, and 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4.
Participants should bring pencils and a lunch. Pine Knob Park is located approximately three miles east of Howe on SR 120.

There is no charge for the Hunter's Safety Class, expenses are paid for with each hunting license sold in Indiana and through Wildlife Restoration Act funds.
