The 17th Annual LaGrange County Habitat for Humanity Benefit Auction will be held on Friday, Aug. 3, starting at 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and a haystack supper from 4-8 p.m.
The auction will be held at the Shipshewana Auction Barn, with a good selection of items up for sale.
Some of the bigger items include the special quilt commissioned by the Habitat Board, and a queen-size buggy. Over 50 quilts are expected for the sale, and include Double Wedding Ring, Big Star, Lone Star, Country Roses, and other designs.
Furniture in the auction includes two dining room sets with table and four chairs, a 5-piece cherry queen-size bedroom suite, and more.
The sale will include tools as well, with a 33-inch Sutech wide cut mower, a 16-inch chainsaw, drills, wrench sets, and more to bid on.
