Aldon “Keith” Cleveland II, 52, Kendallville, Ind., died Monday, November 7, 2016 at his daughter’s residence.

    Tobias A. “Toby” Bontrager, 60, LaGrange, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at his residence.

Andrew W. "Andy" Fry, 80, Shipshewana, died Sunday, November 6, 2016 at his residence.

East Noble dealt the Westview varsity girls basketball team a season-opening, 46-44 setback last Thursday night in Kendallville.

Leigha Brown poured in 35 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in sparking DeKalb to a 62-27 varsity girls basketball triumph over visiting Lakeland last Friday night.

The new Clothes and Food Basket in LaGrange was officially opened on October 3, with volunteers and the building committee holding an Open House this past Saturday.

On November 4 Lima-Brighton Elementary School hosted a Title 1 Wing Fling. The school provided chicken wings and the ingredients to make wing sauce.
