Westview steamed to its seventh NECC girls basketball win in as many outings last Tuesday night in LaGrange by a 49-37 count over the host Lady Lakers of Lakeland.

In a battle of boys hoop squads seeking their initial NECC victories, the Westview Warriors pulled away from the Lakeland Lakers, 48-30 last Tuesday evening in LaGrange.

    She was born May 30, 1927, in Honeygrove, Texas, to George and Edna (Cunningham) Dibley.

Westview wrestlers Lucas Hunter and Austin Bontrager each won individual flight championship Saturday at the annual Warrior Invitational in Emma.

 

Angola sent Westview to its third NECC boys basketball defeat of the season, 36-28 last Friday night in the Monument City.

The Prairie Heights wrestling team gave a good account of itself Saturday at the Yorktown Super 10 meet, which featured several of the top squads in Indiana.

P.J. Dean poured in 24 points in powering Eastside past Lakeland, 61-41 in NECC boys basketball last Friday night in Butler.

Lakeland took advantage of a 10-0 run in the third quarter to best Eastside, 36-30 in an NECC girls basketball tussle Saturday night in LaGrange.
