Kenneth I. Warner, 86, Howe, died Friday, May 4, 2012 at his residence.

 

Derek R. Trittipo, 34, Wolcottville, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

 

Jeanette Fry, 84, Topeka, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.

 

Loren Dean Yoder, 1 day, died Friday, May 4, 2012 at Parkview North Hospital in Fort Wayne. 

 

La Von E. Smith, 81, Crete, Ill., formerly of Frankfort, Ind., died April 18, 2012 at his residence. 

 

 

Lakeland swept an NECC boys track triangular meet held Tuesday in Emma.

 

 

Jimmy Maas’ sweep of the two hurdle races was the Prairie Heights highlight in an NECC boys track triangular meet held in Bushy Prairie Tuesday.

 

Aspen Dirr was the lone event winner for Prairie Heights in an NECC girls track triangular with West Noble and Fairfield held Tuesday night in Brushy Prairie.

 

Fort Wane Canterbury lined 14 hits and took advantage of 10 Prairie Heights errors to garner a 15-11 varsity baseball win over the visiting Panthers Tuesday.

 

Angola moved to 4-1 in the NECC and to 12-5 overall with a 4-1 victory at Prairie Heights Tuesday in varsity softball action.

 

 

Korey Kendall’s two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning gave West Noble a 7-5 NECC baseball triumph over visiting Lakeland Tuesday night.
