Jeanette (Calhoun) Kassee,69, LaGrange, died Monday, March 13, 2017.

The January unemployment rate for LaGrange County rose for January, up to 3.5 percent from 2.9 percent in December. A year ago, the rate was 3.8 for the county.

    He was born November 4, 1923, in LaGrange, to Fred and Retha (Marks) Gage.
