Community Corrections in LaGrange County has received more money from the Indiana Department of Corrections for the 2016-2017 grant cycle, according to Brett Hays, program coordinator.

The LaGrange County Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) held its May meeting Tuesday evening, hearing a total of 10 requests.

Developmental variance requests included:

Michal Charity Webb, 20, Sturgis, Mich., died Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich., due to injuries sustained in a pedestrian-automobile accident.

Lenoard Ritchie, 69, LaGrange, died Thursday May 12, 2016 at his residence.

    He was born November 5, 1946, in Ritchie, Ky., to Austin and Holly (Polly) Ritchie.
