Dennis McKibbin, 67, Shipshewana, died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his residence.

    He was born May 20, 1949, in Goshen, to Buel and Donna (Scamehorn) McKibbin.

The Shipshewana Area Historical Society will welcome Indiana State Poet Laureate Shari Wagner to its September 19 meeting.

On September 9 around 1:20 a.m., deputies from the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department went to an apartment on US 20 in LaGrange for a report of an unwanted party.

Shortly after 3 a.m. on September 7, a deputy with the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department stopped a male subject in the area of 7100N 1150W.

Patrick James Muhler, 27, Ft. Wayne, Ind., died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, Ind.

Todd D. Faunce, 47, LaGrange, died Friday, September 9, 2016 at his residence.

Dorothy P. Mishler, 89, LaGrange, formerly of Shipshewana, died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Miller’s Merry Manor of LaGrange.

Katie Miller, 98, Montezuma, Ga., formerly of Topeka, died Thursday, September 8, 2016.

    She was born July 31, 1918 to Albert and Anna (Hochstetler) Lehman.

Garrett won the battle of the line of scrimmage and on the scoreboard against visiting Lakeland last Friday night at Memorial Field.
