Lakeland picked up its first girls cross country win of the season Tuesday night over Westview, 15-50.

 

Grace Hales pounded 14 kills as Westview clipped Churubusco, 25-21, 25-23, 25-19 in NECC volleyball Monday night in Turtle Town.

 

Westview took the first step in defense of its Class 1A girls soccer sectional championship Tuesday night in Garrett by blanking county rival Lakeland, 6-0.

 

 

 

 

It takes time, patience and money. But the rewards can be huge for the county as a whole.

 

On Sept. 30, a 2001 Honda Civic was reported stolen from the Howe area. On Oct. 3, the stolen vehicle was found in the gravel pit behind the Masonic Lodge on CR 100E.

Prairie Heights standout Nicholas Lagemann won his second straight NECC boys cross country championship Saturday morning at West Noble.

 

Angola scored a late touchdown and two-point conversion to spoil Homecoming at Prairie Heights last Friday night with a 20-19 victory over the Panthers.
