Cathy C. Eash, 63, Topeka, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at her residence.

    She was born April 2, 1952, in Beloit, Wisc., to Joseph and Erma (Cooper) Frye.

Karen Sue Winchester, 60, Okolona, Ky., formally of LaGrange, died Monday, September 7, 2015.

Shortly after 9 p.m. on September 26, an officer from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department attempted to stop a Honda motorcycle on SR 120 just east of CR 100E for speeding.

Officers from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a residence in the 7000 block of CR 100W after a call came in to dispatch regarding a suspicious person.

The driver of a 1999 Buick Park Avenue was arrested after an accident shortly before 10 p.m. on September 28.

Shortly before 6 p.m. on September 28, the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department was contacted by an employee at the Phillips 66 gas station in Howe regarding a drunk driver.

At approximately 7 p.m. on September 28, the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department investigated a hit-and-run accident on CR 325E near CR 250N.

The LaGrange county Sheriff’s Department is looking for a subject that was involved in a battery incident on September 18.
