Lakeland, Northridge and Elkhart Central squared off in a boys golf sectional tune-up Tuesday at Black Squirrel Golf Club in Goshen.

 

The Lakeland softball team won its first IHSAA sectional championship in 14 years last Thursday night in Benton with a 2-0 decision over Wawasee.

 

Lakeland finished sixth out of 20 teams at the Lafayette Jefferson Invitational boys golf tournament played this past Saturday at the Battleground Golf Course.

 

NorthWood scored seven runs in its final two at bats to fend off a pesky Lakeland squad, 7-1 in 3A baseball sectional semifinal action Monday afternoon at Wawasee.
