The work on CR 200N between SR 9 and CR 675W is progressing, with the base and intermediate layer of asphalt laid down last week.

Shortly after 8 p.m. on July 10, an officer from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department stopped a 2004 Ford passenger car on CR 300N west of SR 3 for a traffic violation.

Deputies from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a residence in the 7000N block of CR 1200W regarding a stolen vehicle.

Two people were arrested for OWI in separate incidents July 10.

Brittney Pender is the new Health and Human Sciences Extension Educator in LaGrange County. Pender currently resides is Columbia City and was born and raised in rural St. Joseph County, Ind.
