The Shipshewana Area Historical Society will welcome Indiana State Poet Laureate Shari Wagner to its September 19 meeting.

On September 9 around 1:20 a.m., deputies from the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department went to an apartment on US 20 in LaGrange for a report of an unwanted party.

Shortly after 3 a.m. on September 7, a deputy with the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department stopped a male subject in the area of 7100N 1150W.

On Friday, Sept. 9, at approximately 2:13 a.m., the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department called to the 700E block of CR 200S regarding a subject with stab wounds to his chest and head.

Passengers on a golf cart at Gordon’s Campground on CR 600S were injured after the golf cart flipped over.

    Two juveniles were arrested at Ontario Dam after they were found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department was contacted on September 3 regarding vandalism.

During the month of June, designated Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, Topeka Pharmacy participated in the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Alzheimer Awareness and Fundraising Program.

The LaGrange County Clothes and Food Basket’s new building on Railroad Street in LaGrange is ready to move into, and the moving process will start later this month.
