Woodland downs Heights in boys soccer

 

Woodlan got a first-half hat trick from I Sar and went on to best Prairie Heights, 4-2 in varsity soccer play Tuesday night at Kreager Park in New Haven.

Graham Renbarger, Brendon Mohr and Zin Meach in collected assists on Sar’s three markers. Min also set up Woodlan’s only goal of the second half, which came on a boot by Ar Ma.

Ryan Burkholder logged his first goal of the season for Prairie Heights in the 23rd minute of the first half. The other Panther goal came in the second half when one of the Woodlan players accidently knocked the ball into his own net off a Heights free kick.

Panther keeper Kyle Burkholder made 12 saves in the loss.

Prairie Heights now stands 4-3 on the season.
