Westview girls tennis whips Lakeland

Westview opened up its NECC boys tennis slate last Thursday by whipping county rival Lakeland, 5-0.

The Warriors won all five matches in straight sets. Giving up just one game in forging 6-1, 6-0 triumphs were No. 2 singles player Andrew Yoder and the No. 1 doubles duo of Hunter Christner-Jamar Weaver.

Lakeland won four of the six junior varsity matches. Scoring points for the Warrior reserves were Asher Gingerich in singles and the doubles team of Alex Stutzman-John Campos.
