Maria McCoy threw in 18 points, snared six rebounds and blocked three shots in sparking the Westview varsity girls basketball team to a 47-38 victory over NECC rival Churubusco Saturday night in Emma.
Grace Hales produced nine points and seven rebounds for the Lady Warriors, who out scored Churubusco, 31-18 in the second half.
Montana Martin swished 16 points to pace Churubusco. Savannah Labenz added 10.
Westview improved to 3-4 overall and to 2-0 in the NECC with the win.
