Maria McCoy and her Westview teammates stayed red-hot Tuesday night in whipping visiting Elkhart Christian, 61-32.
McCoy, a 6-0 freshman, threw in 18 points in leading the Lady Warriors to their third straight victory. McCoy has scored at least 18 markers in each game during the winning streak.
Classmate Grace Hales chalked up 10 points, six assists and five rebounds for Westview, which led 19-8 after one period and 42-15 heading into the fourth quarter. Olivia Miller and Kristen Duff snared eight and seven rebounds, respectively.
Hailey Fultz tossed in 10 points to lead Elkhart Christian. Dora Jongsma canned a trio of three-point shots for nine tallies.
The win improved coach Randy Yoder’s Lady Warriors to 4-4.
