Westview scored in each of its final four at bats to pull out a 6-4 NECC baseball victory at Central Noble last Thursday.
The Warriors tallied twice in the top of the fourth to break a 1-all tie, only to see the Cougars match the feat with two runs of their own and deadlock the game once again. Westview logged single markers in the fifth, sixth and seventh frames to take a 6-3 lead, then held CN to one run in the bottom of the seventh to nail down its third league win in four decisions.
Adrian Brandenberger collected three hits, including a double, and drove a run to pace the Warriors at the plate. Austin Schlabach belted a solo homer, Damon Miller had two hits and knocked in a run, and Luke Miller slapped a couple of hits.
Jamar Weaver pitched the initial 6.1 innings for Westview to get the win. Schlabach took over for Weaver with one out in the seventh, retiring both Cougars he faced to earn a save.
