Westview boys too much for Eastside

Brant Yoder and Kyle Miller fueled a Westview rally in the second half which thwarted the upset attempt of the Eastside Blazers, 56-42 last Friday night in Butler.

Trailing 25-23 at the half, the Warriors put together a 16-7 run in the third period to take a 39-32 lead. Miller netted eight of his team-high 19 points during the surge.

Yoder then took over the Westview attack in the final stanza, fueling a 17-10 spurt with seven markers. He finished the contest with 15 tallies.

In addition to his scoring, Yoder topped the Warriors in assists (seven) and steals (four). He and Miller co-led the rebound chart with five apiece.
