Westview boys tennis wins a pair

The Westview varsity boys tennis team maintained its winning ways earlier this week by handling West Noble and Bethany Christian.

Coach Ryan Yoder’s Warriors clipped West Noble, 4-1 Monday night in Emma to go 3-0 in NECC play. Kohle Christner and Andrew Yoder earned singles points for the hosts. Taking doubles decisions were the duos of Hunter Christner-Jamar Weaver and Zach Schrock-Taylor Eash.

Westview traveled to Bethany Tuesday evening and escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Bruins. Kohle Christner and Yoder again claimed singles wins, while Schrock and Eash tallied a doubles triumph.

The Warriors stand 8-2 overall.
