Westview boys stomps Wawasee

 

Westview ran its boys basketball winning streak to 14 games Tuesday night with a 47-29 victory over Wawasee in Syracuse.

Jordyn Bontrager canned 21 points to lead the Warrior attack. The 5-10 junior guard netted all eight Westview points in the second quarter and produced six markers in the fourth period, helping to trigger a 16-6 finishing kick by the 17-1 Warriors.

In addition to his scoring, Bontrager collected five assists, four rebounds and three steals.

Chandler Aspy joined Bontrager in double digits with 11 points. Kyle Miller led the victors on the boards with seven rebounds.

Topping Wawasee with 12 points was Gage Reinhard.
