Westview boys soccer team edges Prairie Heights

 

Westview edged Prairie Heights, 2-1 in NECC boys soccer last Thursday night in Emma.

Jacob Berkey netted both Warrior goals in the match. His first came in the 15th minute off an assist from Bucky Carpenter.

The visiting Panthers knotted up the count at 1-all on an unassisted goal by Christian Granados 1:23 into the second half. Berkey then broke the tie in the 63rd minute with assists from Luke Hunter and Zac Carmack.

Logan Good made one save as the Warrior keeper. Panther goalie Kyle Burkholder stopped 10 Westview tries.

 

 

Central Noble forged a 4-1 varsity bots tennis win over The Howe School last Thursday.

Leo Samora accounted for the lone Wildcat point. Samora beat Tisher, 7-5, 6-1 in the No. 3 singles match.
