Westview boys down Churubusco

Jordyn Bontrager sank 21 points and Chandler Aspy swished 20 as Westview rolled to a 62-48 triumph over visiting Churubusco in its NECC boys basketball opener last Friday night in Emma.

Aspy tallied 11 of his markers in the first quarter, sparking the Warriors to an 18-10 advantage. Bontrager scored 11 of his points after the intermission, helping Westview seal its second win of the young campaign.

Jamar Weaver chipped in 12 points to the Warrior ledger. Judah Zickafoose snared a team-best 10 rebounds.

Blake Gross put in 12 points and Alex Turnbow knocked down 10 to pace the Eagles.
