Westview boys baseball team clobbers West Noble

 

Westview’s batters bashed out 14 hits and pitcher Jamar Weaver struckout 10, as the Warriors clobbered NECC rival West Noble, 19-0 Tuesday evening in Emma.

Judah Zickafoose led the potent Warrior attack with three hits and five RBI. The junior center fielder slugged a two-run double in the second inning, then drove in three runs in the fifth with a home run and a single.

Jake Berkey collected three singles and two RBI for the winners. Kohle Christner and Hunter Christner each netted two hits and an RBI, John Yoder a single and two RBI, and both Weaver and Jeremy Hochstetler a hit and an RBI.

Weaver allowed just one hit – a second-inning single to Nick Noe – in his five-frame gem. Weaver walked two.
