West Noble Girls down Lakeland

West Noble started fast and finished strong in a 66-47 NECC girls basketball win at Lakeland last Friday evening.

The Lady Chargers rolled to a 27-14 lead by the end of the first period, only to see the scrappy Lady Lakers gradually cut the margin to four (46-42) early in the fourth quarter. The visitors then went on a 20-5 run to end the game and secure their fifth league win.

Kelsie Peterson paced a quartet of Lady Chargers in double figures with 17 points. Ashley Shepherd netted 13 markers, Haley Richardson 11 and Alex Landeros 10.

Morgan Meyers fired in 16 points to lead Lakeland. Ashtin Kaminer chipped in eight points and Lexie Myers six rebounds and four assists.
