West Noble tallied seven unanswered goals to defeat Prairie Heights, 8-1 in NECC boys soccer action Monday evening in Brushy Prairie.
The Chargers broke out on top, 1-0 in the 10th minute on a score by Ivan Ramirez. Six minutes later, Darrin Cole booted home the equalizer for the Panthers with an assist from Collin Musser.
But before the first half was complete, West Noble had gotten goals from Chris Najera and Uriel Macias to take a 3-1 advantage into the intermission. The Chargers netted five markers in the second half, two by Brian Macias and one each by Christian Marin, Abel Zamarripa and Uriel Macias.
Jose Acevedo and Uriel Macias each collected three assists to top the 7-2 Chargers in that department. Zamarripa and Jonathan Moreno both had one helper.
Panther goalie Kyle Burkholder was credited with nine saves. West Noble netminder Emanuel Ibanez had five saves.
