Wawasee girls tennis slips past Lakeland

Lakeland fell to both Wawasee and West Noble in varsity girls tennis action earlier this week.

Monday night in Syracuse, wins by the doubles duos of Becca Wooster-Nikki Chavez-Fearnow and Monique Britts-Cori Vaughn accounted for the Lady Laker points in a 3-2 setback to Wawasee. Both units won in straight sets.

Amanda Miller’s two-set triumph over Hannah Pfenning at the No. 2 singles slot was the lone win for Lakeland in a 4-1 loss to visiting West Noble.
