Warrior girls edges Bremen

 

Westview blew a double-digit lead, then bounced back to out score Bremen, 12-10 in overtime to claim a 62-60 victory over the visiting Lady Lions in varsity girls basketball last Thursday.

Maria McCoy popped in 19 points to pace the Lady Warriors, who led by 13 points (32-19) at the halftime break. Joining McCoy in double figures were Grace Hales with 13 markers and Brooke Yoder with 10.

Olivia Miller topped the Westview rebound chart with 11. Hales collected seven assists and six boards.

Sara Slabaugh sparked Bremen’s near-comeback effort with 20 points. Megan Stouder had 12.
