Warren J. Brandebury, 87, LaGrange, formerly of Sturgis, Mich., died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
He was born June 6, 1924, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Arlee and Bertha (Stahr) Brandebury.
Living in Sturgis, Mich., in 1960, where he lived until moving to LaGrange two years ago, he was a pharmacist and former owner of the drug store and hardware store in Orland. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of LaGrange Baptist Church.
He was married March 22, 1946, in Weatherford, Texas, to Hazel Marie Rhodes. She preceded him in death on October 1, 2004.
Surviving are one son, Robert Brandebury, Sturgis, Mich.; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Kim and Jerry Boecker Jr., Constantine, Mich.; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Tom and Janelle Brandebury, Burr Oak, Mich.; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 20, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, at LaGrange Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Farnham officiating.
Burial with military rites by Bronson American Legion will be in Bronson Cemetery, Bronson, Mich.
