Warrant service leads to discovery of synthetic drug and paraphernalia

At approximately 2 p.m. on September 5, officers from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department attempted to serve a warrant at a residence in the 500S block of CR 250W.

    According to the police report, officers found the wanted subject, Matthew P. Frye, 28, in the bedroom of the residence. He was handcuffed and searched, with officers allegedly locating paraphernalia and a synthetic drug.

    Frye was taken to the LaGrange County Jail where he was booked on charges of possession of paraphernalia and possession of a synthetic drug. He is being held for Noble County on an outstanding warrant.
