Vehicle runs stop sign, crash kills two

A two-vehicle accident shortly after 5 p.m. on November 22 killed two people.
    According to the police report, Derek D. Lambright, 22, of CR 450W was driving his 2002 Dodge Neon eastbound on CR 250N when it was struck by a 2005 Dodge 3500 pickup driven by Ali Warith, 32, of Topeka, which was traveling southbound on CR 1150W and ran the stop sign.
    Lambright died at the scene.
    Ali Warith and a passenger in his truck, Rashid Warith, 36, also of Topeka, were taken to Parkview LaGrange Hospital. Ali Warith was pronounced dead at the hospital. Rashid Warith was treated for shoulder pain.
