The LaGrange County Regional Utility District Board will hold two special sessions next week in relation to the Shipshewana West project.
The first special session will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, at 116 E. Wayne St. in LaGrange. The board will open bids received for the project at that time.
Following that meeting, the bids will be handed over to the project engineer for review.
The board will meet again at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, also 116 E. Wayne St. in LaGrange. At that meeting, the board is expected to act on the engineer’s recommendations regarding the bids. The board will also have the first reading of the rate ordinance for Shipshewana West.
The board will also discuss and possibly act on a revised sewer use ordinance that would include the Shipshewana West project.
A public hearing on the user rates for Shipshewana West is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the Wolfe Building in Shipshewana.
