A vehicle turning left into the parking lot of the Golden Buddha caused a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.
According to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, a northbound vehicle driven by Martin Rector, 71, of Woodburn, Ind., was northbound on SR 9 and turned left into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by Talmara Brinaler, 31, of Howe.
Brinaler’s vehicle came to rest in the grassy area in front of the restaurant.
The report listed two injuries, but no further information on the extent of the injuries was provided.
Rector was cited for failure to yield.
LaGrange County EMS and the Howe Fire Department assisted at the scene.
